Everywhere across the world, nations are being overcome by waves after waves of uncertainties, due to the coronavirus. We are in an unprecedented time.
As believers, what do we do now in the midst of all these? And in such a time as this?
We need to ask God.
Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,
And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,
Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain,
And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.
Isaiah 40:21-22
He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He is enthroned above all. We need to remember that the Name of Jesus is above every other name, this coronavirus included, and God has put all things under His feet.
Let’s give glory to the name above all names and worship Him!
Exalts His Name. This is the time to proclaim His goodness, His love, His grace, and lift up the name of Jesus!
Worship brings the right perspective
The worse the situation seems to get, the more I just want to sit at His feet, to just be in His presence. My heart yearns to adore Him, to lift the banner of His name up high, to declare how great is my God!
Worship enables me to quiet down the noise of this natural realm. Worship enables me to hear Him.
Worship enables me to tune in to His channel.
Worship enables me to see in my spirit what is actually happening.
Worship enables me to know His heart.
Worship enables me to get a glimpse on what He is going to do.
That is what God put in my heart.
This is going to be a period of “extreme grace”, if I may call it that.
The Lord is going to lift up the gates of His reservoir, and the water is going to come rushing out.
It will gush out so rapidly and the currents will be very strong!
That is a picture I received of how the Lord is going to pour forth His Spirit during this time:
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord,
As the waters covers the sea.
Habakkuk 2:14
Those who do not seek Him, will be found by Him. People who do not inquire of Him, will have an encounter with the Lord.
I was sought by those who did not ask for Me
I was found by those who did not seek Me
I said, “Here I am, Here I am”
To a nation that was not called by My Name.
Isaiah 65:1
And He said to me,
“That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting
That there is none besides Me
I am the Lord and there is no other.”
Isaiah 45:6
People are going to know Him. From the east to the west, the knowledge of the Lord will fill the earth as waters cover the sea. And it is going to be LOUD. All the nations will be able to see it happen! That Jesus is Lord and there is none other!
A great outpouring of His Spirit is coming!
All this while we have been praying for God to pour out His Spirit, for a great awakening, a great revival to happen. We have been waiting for that. Well, it’s coming! And He says, “Get ready!”
The voice of one crying in the wilderness
Prepare the way of the Lord
Make straight in the desert
A Highway for our God
Every valley shall be exalted
And every mountain and hill brought low
The crooked places shall be made straight
And the rough places smooth
The glory of the Lord shall be revealed
And the flesh shall see it together
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken
Isaiah 40:3-5
I see in my spirit that we are on a surfboard, waiting for the waves to hit in. Then it dawned upon me. This is not about the virus. This is about the outpouring of His Spirit that is going to bring about such a great awakening, in the body of Christ (the church) and also the world!
The enemy always plays catch-up. What’s happening is a result of something that God is doing in the spiritual realm: He has released such a great outpouring, lifting up ancient gates and floodgates, and the enemy is reacting by bringing in this pandemic. But our Lord is not going to let this stop Him. The enemy has been defeated, remember?
This coronavirus is so infectious that it causes us all to observe social distancing. It is so infectious, that everybody has to wear a mask, and in great way, stop talking. Well, the Lord is going to move so mightily that it will be so ‘infectious’, and it will be so easy for people to ‘catch it’!
They will hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ (good news) and they will believe. It will be so easy to get people to believe as His angels are partnering with us to be the harvesters of a ripe and golden field of the earth. That there is a Redeemer for us, will be on everyone’s lips, and people will share the love of God, the Gospel, causing it to really spread like wildfire!
Let us all be a part of this. The enemy wants to shut us up as we’re increasingly declaring His goodness through praise and worship and as we’re sharing His love to people around us. But don’t let him. The tide is going to turn, and the impression I have is that it’s going to turnaround just like that, with a snap of His fingers.
Magnify Jesus
Start lifting up Jesus with your mouth, instead of lifting up the coronavirus. And instead of worrying about the numbers of positive cases around the world, start praying for a greater number of people coming to Christ around the world.
I heard the Lord said, “I AM He” and. He is here for us; He has never left us.
To us who believe in Him,
“Even to your old age, I am He
And even to gray hairs I will carry you (sustain you)
I have made and I will bear
Even I will carry and deliver you”
Isaiah 46:4
He is the Messiah who gives out living water upon those who thirst.
To those who is looking for the one True God,
The woman said to Him, I know that Messiah is coming
(who is called Christ)
When He comes, He will tell us all things”
Jesus said to her,” I who speak to you, am He”.
John 4:25-26
In the garden of Gethsemane, the group wanted to capture Jesus. The moment Jesus said, “I am He”, there is such power in His name that all of them fell to the ground (John 18:6). The enemy has no power over Him at all. Jesus has already won for us the absolute victory at the cross. He is the Alpha and Omega. He is the All Powerful, All Mighty and the Everlasting God.
He is the One who was and is and is to come. His Name is above every other name, including the coronavirus.
We have a choice. Let’s choose to magnify the name of Jesus. Choose to magnify the Living God and none other. Get excited and get ready for the waves of the great awakening to hit us. It is coming!
